“Cavagna and Siraga enter ‘product package’ deal

Italian LPG equipment manufacturer Cavagna Group and French LPG cylinder filling specialist Siraga have entered into a strategic alliance to create “the biggest LPG product package available on earth today”, Cavagna chief executive Davide Cavagna said at the World LP Gas Forum and the European LPG Industry Association Congress in London on 1-3 October. The newly formed partnership will allow both companies to better target LPG clean cooking fuel schemes in the developing world under the WLPGA’s Cooking for Life scheme, Cavagna says We know there are 1 billion people waiting to use LPG for cooking, and we are making important inroads to creating the right platform to ensure these people can use LPG,” Cavagna says “Cavagna is very strong in the US, while [Siraga] has a presence in Brazil that will benefit Cavagna,” Siraga general manager Eric Batise says. “We can now offer a complete LPG solution to our customers, which is something new in our industry.”
