In a bold move to create awareness, the Malaysian Association of Natural Gas Vehicle Installers (MANGVI), organized the 1^st Mangvi NGV Green Convoy Year 2014. The convoy was to have total 57 vehicles that would make 550 km journey across the country from Malacca to Penang. This event also co-organized and supported by the Malaysian Automotive Institute (MAI).

MANGVI President Danny Tan said the one day convoy with the vehicles running on Natural Gas (NGV) to encourage the use of environmentally friendly fuels. The effort to encourage the use of environmentally friendly fuels such as NGV should be further enhanced to deal with air pollution from vehicles and this was our objective for this program,

The convoy began in the southern state of Malacca on the 29^th of November 2014 in the early morning. And all of the 57 vehicles arrived at the KOMTAR building which was the final stop of the convoy in Penang. They are achievement for the Malaysia Book Records that was presented by Honrouable Dato Haji Mohd Rashid Bin Hasson, Depety Chief Minister of Penang. Dato Haji Mohd Rashid Bin Hasnon expressed his utmost support for the convoy saying that events like these are in line with the state’s vision for a cleaner and greener nation.  Founder of the Malaysian Book of Records, Tan Sri Danny was also present to congratulate Dato Danny and MANGVI on ther successful completion of the record attempt. State Executive Councillor of Penang, Phee Boon Poh was also present and expressed his support for the event. It was a proud moment for MANGVI and an even prouder moment for Dato’ Danny, who praised the MANGVI organisation committee for their efforts and dedication prior to, and throughout the convoy.

9th Ecorally San Marino – Vaticano ended with a 2nd place for Massimo Liverani and Valeria Strada and a 3rd place for Nicola Ventura and Monica Porta.

Nicola Ventura and Monica Porta also won the 6° Ecorally Press event: a big thanks to all the drivers, which always deliver an excellent performance with our LPG and CNG Systems.
